A Blessed Time at Fellowship Church

Friday/Saturday, May 3/4, 2019

It’s Saturday evening (05-04-2019), and we just returned from a wonderful church meeting at Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church (pastor: Elder Gary Hall). Fellowship church is located just south of Macon, Georgia, out in the country.

A church meeting is a series of worship services, held periodically (i.e. each Spring, Fall, etc.) by a church, normally featuring preaching by an invited minister(s). It typically lasts at least 2 days, and includes meals at the church between services.

We drove down to Macon on Friday afternoon (05-03-2019) where we had a room reserved at a very nice hotel – Spring Hill Suites (Marriott). We rested for a while, then drove down to Fellowship Church for an enjoyable fellowship supper followed by evening services. The meeting continued on Saturday morning followed by fellowship lunch.

Eld. Mark Quarles (pastor of Providence Primitive Baptist Church in Stringer, Mississippi) was the invited minister. He was greatly bless with liberty to preach a strong message about the significance of Jesus’ sacrifice for God’s People.

Bro Mark is a VERY able preacher of the Gospel. We’ve known him for many years and love he and his family very much. I treasure this picture below, taken after morning services today (Saturday, 05-04-2019). Bro. Mark is on the right.

Great to be with Bro. Mark again!

We were blessed to be with others whom we’ve known and worshiped with at other meetings. This included our dear friend and Sister – Wanda Grubbs, whom we’ve known since 1981! . Praise God!!
