New House Update – 05/01/2021

Hi.
Wanted to provide an update to my March 11, 2021 post that mentioned our moving and building a new house (https://kenwbrenner.home.blog/2021/03/11/catching-up-03-11-2021/)

Old House (Cumming, GA):
– Movers came on 04-30/05-01-2021
– We will be living with our son Brian and his wife and daughter in Cumming for a few weeks until needed in Mississippi to make final selections for new house
– We’re hoping to close out on the new house by mid-May or so…

Here are a few pictures of the house and lot (as of 04-20-2021):

View of front, the house has 4 sides brick. The window over the garage is the large upstairs bonus room

An interior view of the large upstairs bonus room. The room is approximately 23×13. Behind the photographer is a full bath and large closet. This room will be a combination of: 4th bedroom, computer room, tv area, and small library.
A view of our 1.3 acre lot from the right-back corner of the house. The lot goes down to small grove of trees and lake.
From the grove of trees into the lake. Hoping to put a hammock in here for my naps!!

Looking forward to being in our new house (and being through with the move!).
