Hi! Hope this finds you and your family doing well, and enjoying the peaceful and comforting grace of our Lord.
On the third weekend of May (May 14, 15, 16), Bethel Primitive Baptist Church (Elder Ronald Lawrence, Pastor) hosted its annual Spring meeting.
The invited ministers were Elder Chris Crouse, pastor of Little Union Primitive Baptist Church in Lithia, Florida, and Elder David Crawford, pastor of Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church in Macclenny, Florida.

Each service was preceded by a song service, led by song leaders, and sung by the congregation “a Capella” (without musical instruments).

Friday Evening, 05-14-2021
Eld. Chris Crouse preached from Hebrews 4 on “Our Great High Priest”.
From this message:
– Come boldly to the throne of grace
– Jesus understands our trials
– We have no greater love than Jesus

Elder David Crawford preached from Matthew 18 on “Patience”
References included:

From this message:
– Patience is not natural, but spiritual
– “Long to Boil”: Take a long time to anger
– Lack of patience creates bitterness, which affects all parts of our life
– Jesus had compassion and pity on many, we should do likewise
– For us to go to heaven, someone had to pay the debt, Jesus did that for us

Saturday Morning
Eld. David Crawford preached from Isaiah 49 concerning “Our Great God”.
From this message:
– The bigger our God looks to us, the smaller or problems seem
– Be thankful and joyful for what God does for us
– God will NOT forget His people
Eld. Chris Crouse preached from Hebrews 13 on “Jesus’ Sacrifice”.
References included:
– Isaiah 49
From this message:
– As the blood of the sacrifice animals was used on the alter, the blood of Jesus is the sacrifice of His people
– We may forsake Jesus, but He will NOT forsake us
– Go to Jesus!
The meeting continued on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
We were not present for those services, but received a good report on the blessings received.
