September, 2022 Annual Meeting at Salem Church – Natchez, MS

Hi! Hope this finds you and your family doing well, and enjoying the peaceful and comforting Grace of our Lord.

On the weekend of September 23-25, 2022, Salem Primitive Baptist Church (Elder Lonnie Mozingo, Jr, Pastor) hosted their Annual Meeting.
We attended the Saturday morning and afternoon services on September 24.

It was a blessing to be in services again with Bro. Lonnie!
He has a wonderful gift to preach, and was our loving Pastor in Atlanta for many years.

The invited minister was Elder Ricky Harcrow, pastor of Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church in Cullman, Alabama.

Each service was preceded by a song service, led by song leaders, and sung by the congregation “a Capella” (without musical instruments).

Saturday Morning, 09-24-2022

Eld. Ricky Harcrow preached from 1 Corinthians 15 on “Hearing Jesus”.
References included:
Luke 24:44
– Romans 8:18

From this message:
– We need to hear Jesus preached regularly! (AMEN)
– Jesus is everything in the life of a Child of God
– The Gospel of Grace covers all of God’s People
– We are affected by Jesus’ work on the Cross
– God gives us victory through Jesus!

We have enjoyed many sermons preached by this dear Brother over the years.
It was good to hear his wonderful preaching gift again.

Morning services were followed by a fellowship lunch in the dining room.
