Fall Colors – 2022 (Part 2)

Hi. Hope you all are having a blessed day in the Lord.

Continuing this week with my series of articles concerning the beauty of the Lord’s Creation as seen in the colorful Fall Foliage.
Articles include:
1. Pictures I’ve taken of the beautiful Fall foliage
2. Some pictures from the Fall issues of Vermont Life magazine, which I subscribed to for many years

My Fall Pictures
The following pictures were taken on 10-27-2012 while hiking to the top of Blood Mountain in north Georgia.
On this hike, I parked at the north end of the mountain, took a side trail to the Appalachian Trail (AT), then up to the top of Blood Mountain (4,458 ft.). I returned via the same route.
Once on top, I noticed clouds coming in from the south and west. Eventually, they came over the top and covered the north side, my route up and back.
As you’ll see, the combination of colorful Fall Foliage + clouds made for some interesting scenery.

A hint of what is to come – road into parking lot
The trail, lined with trees decorated with the season’s color
The color increases with the altitude
From the top, looking south
Low clouds roll in
On the way down – the “Pyramid” rock
As the clouds roll over the top, the “mood” changes
A special combination

Vermont Life Magazine – Fall Issues
Here are some pictures from the Autumn, 1976 edition.
(Reminder: The quality is not the greatest due to these being copied from the magazine, which is becoming somewhat faded due to age.)

The first of four pictures from an article “Mirror of Autumn”
I once hiked through a similar scene on the Appalachian Trail
Will share those in a few weeks
How’s this for some unusual Halloween decorations!
From an article “Whiling away an Autumn day”

Jeremiah 32:17
Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou has made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, there is nothing too hard for thee

God Bless!!!
