Fall Colors – 2022 (Part 3)

Hi. Hope you are having a blessed day in the Lord.

Continuing this week with my series of articles concerning the beauty of the Lord’s Creation as seen in the colorful Fall Foliage.
Articles include:
1. Pictures I’ve taken of the beautiful Fall foliage
2. Some pictures from the Fall issues of Vermont Life magazine, which I subscribed to for many years

My Fall Pictures
The following pictures were taken on 10-17/18-2007 while hiking on the Appalachian Trail (AT) in central Virginia, west of Roanoke.
The scenery in this part of Virginia is beautiful, and these Fall colors are probably the nicest I’ve seen when hiking.

I remember crossing this road as I ascended a mountain, and thinking “How Beautiful!”
The white paint “blaze” on the tree is how the Appalachian Trail is marked (in both directions) along its nearly 2200-mile route.
A view from Wind Rock (4,088 ft.). One of my all-time favorite pictures taken on the AT!
Walking through this beauty was an uplifting experience.
A view southwest from Kelly Knob (3,744 ft.)
I’ve always enjoyed the diversity of woods and open areas on the AT.

Vermont Life Magazine – Fall Issues
Here are some pictures from the Autumn, 1982 edition.
(Reminder: The quality is not the greatest due to these being copied from the magazine, which is becoming somewhat faded due to age.)

This and the next two photos are from an article called “Autumn Experience”
What an incredible scene through which to walk…
Where’s Charlie Brown?!

Psalms 24:1
The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein.

God Bless!!!
