Hi! Hope this finds you and your family doing well, and enjoying the peaceful and comforting grace of our Lord.
On Sunday morning 10-16-2022, Providence Primitive Baptist Church – Elder Mark Quarles Pastor, was blessed with visiting preachers and family from California and Texas.
Visitors included:
– Elder Tracy Frederickson, pastor of Little Hope Primitive Baptist Church in Madera, California
– Elder Travis Brown, pastor of Providence Primitive Baptist Church in Corsicana, Texas and his wife Sis. Sylvia
– Bro. Robert Brown, deacon at Little Hope Primitive Baptist Church in Madera, California, and his wife Sis. Cheryl


The preaching service was preceded by a song service, led by song leaders, and sung by the congregation “a Capella” (without musical instruments).

Eld.Tracy Frederickson preached from Galatians 4 on “The Spirit of God”.

– We need the Spirit of God in us
– Live through the Spirit and NOT the flesh (our natural, sinful ways)

Following morning services, a fellowship lunch was served in the dining room.
Personal Notes:
It was a wonderful time for all of us at Providence Church to meet and hear these dear people from Texas and California.
I had corresponded for some time with them, but had not met them in person until this special day at Providence Church. I was and am thankful for this blessed opportunity.

Wow Brother, my heart is filled with joy and my eyes with tears of joy. Thank you so much Brother Ken. That brought back such wonderful memories from that weekend. Honestly, the highlight of the weekend for me was the services at Providence. God bless you Brother. We love you in Christ.
