Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church – 2023 Florida Fellowship Meeting

Hi! Hope this finds you and your family doing well, and enjoying the peaceful and comforting grace of our Lord.

OnThursday night, 01-26-2023 through Sunday morning 01-29-2023, Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church – Elder David Crawford, Pastor, hosted the annual Florida Fellowship Meeting.

Each preaching service was preceded by a song service, led by song leaders, and sung by the congregation “a Capella” (without musical instruments).

Thursday Night, 01-26-2023

The meeting started with preaching by Eld. Ronald Lawrence from Revelation 22:21 on “The Grace of God”.
Bro. Ronald is pastor of Bethel Primitive Baptist Church located in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.


Eld. James Isaacs preached from 2 Timothy 2:10 on “The Purpose of Preaching the Gospel”.
Bro. James is pastor of Reveille Primitive Baptist Church located in Magazine, Arkansas.

Note: We did not attend the Thursday night service as we were travelling to Macclenny that day. We were in attendance through the remainder of the meeting.



Friday Morning, 01-27-2023

Elder Gary Rhodes preached from 2 Chronicles 26 on “I See Also the Lord”.

Personal Notes:

We are thankful for the blessings of this meeting.
It was very well attended and we enjoyed hearing 19 preachers from several states (Arkansas, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, Virginia).
The church did a great job in hosting the meeting, and their pastor, Eld. David Crawford was an excellent moderator!

We were also very thankful for the attendance of our long-time dear friends, Bro. Bob Coleman and his wife Sis. JoAnn (seen below on the right). They are members of the Augusta Old Line Primitive Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia.
